What happened to each enquiry
Results by business appear here after the first round. Until then every listed concreter shows “Not tested yet” on its own page, and the rows will be listed alphabetically so this page cannot be read as a second ranking.
How we test
Each quarter we send one standard enquiry to each listed business through its published contact channel: a web form, email or message. We log the time of the first human reply and whether it gave a ballpark figure. We do not follow up, book a job or pay anyone. Out-of-hours enquiries count from the next business hour. Full method. Replies that give a price are logged with the figure, the area and the date. We call them ballpark figures given in reply to our standard enquiry. They sit beside written quotes in the prices behind our cost guides, counted separately. A ballpark figure from a message is not a firm quote, so we label it.

Can a business pay to improve its result?
No. Results are logged by us and cannot be bought or edited. A business can ask for a correction if the record is wrong.
